Warranty Policy

Last Updated: 26/08/2026

At Ovrak – Power Your Next Build, we sell genuine computer components and related products from various manufacturers and brands.

This Warranty Policy explains how warranty support works for products purchased through https://ovrak.in/.

1. Manufacturer Warranty

Most products sold by Ovrak are covered by a warranty provided by the respective manufacturer or brand.

The applicable warranty period, coverage, exclusions and claim process may vary depending on:

  • Product
  • Brand
  • Model
  • Manufacturer
  • Region
  • Product category
  • Date of purchase

The manufacturer’s warranty terms applicable to the particular product will govern the warranty claim.

Where a product is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, Ovrak may assist the customer in connecting with the manufacturer or its authorised service centre where appropriate.

2. Warranty Period

The warranty period is determined by the respective manufacturer and may differ from one product to another.

Customers should refer to:

  • the product listing;
  • product documentation;
  • manufacturer warranty information;
  • the invoice; or
  • the manufacturer’s official warranty terms

to determine the applicable warranty period.

Where the manufacturer specifies a warranty period beginning from the date of purchase, the Ovrak invoice may be used as proof of purchase.

3. What the Warranty Generally Covers

Subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms, warranty coverage may apply to manufacturing defects or faults that occur during the applicable warranty period.

Depending on the manufacturer and product, the available remedy may include:

  • repair;
  • replacement;
  • replacement with an equivalent product;
  • replacement with a refurbished product;
  • firmware/software assistance where applicable; or
  • another remedy determined by the manufacturer.

The exact remedy is determined according to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe that a product purchased from Ovrak is defective, please contact us at:

Email: info@ovrak.in

Please provide:

  • Ovrak order number;
  • invoice/proof of purchase;
  • product name and model;
  • serial number, where applicable;
  • description of the issue;
  • photographs or videos where relevant; and
  • any troubleshooting information requested by our support team.

We may ask for additional information before proceeding with a warranty claim.

5. Manufacturer or Authorised Service Centre

Depending on the product, Ovrak may:

  • assist you with the manufacturer’s warranty process;
  • direct you to the manufacturer’s authorised service centre;
  • coordinate with the manufacturer or distributor; or
  • provide other reasonable assistance.

Some manufacturers require customers to submit warranty claims directly through their own support channels.

In such cases, Ovrak may provide the necessary invoice or purchase information to help establish warranty eligibility.

6. Warranty Assessment

A warranty claim may require inspection, testing or diagnosis by the manufacturer, distributor or authorised service centre.

The final determination of whether a product qualifies for warranty coverage may be made by the applicable manufacturer or authorised service provider.

If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect covered by warranty, the applicable manufacturer warranty remedy will apply.

7. Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage may not apply to damage or failure resulting from circumstances including:

  • incorrect installation;
  • improper handling;
  • physical damage;
  • liquid or moisture damage;
  • electrical surge or unsuitable power supply;
  • accidental damage;
  • misuse;
  • abuse;
  • negligence;
  • unauthorised repair;
  • modification or alteration;
  • tampering;
  • operation outside manufacturer specifications;
  • use with incompatible components;
  • improper storage;
  • damage caused during customer installation;
  • overclocking where excluded by the manufacturer; or
  • normal wear and tear where excluded by the manufacturer.

The actual exclusions applicable to a product are determined by the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

8. PC Component Installation

PC components should be installed by a competent person using appropriate procedures and equipment.

Customers should take particular care when installing:

  • CPUs;
  • GPUs;
  • motherboards;
  • RAM;
  • SSDs;
  • power supplies;
  • CPU coolers;
  • liquid cooling systems; and
  • other sensitive electronic components.

Damage caused by incorrect installation may not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

If you are unsure how to install a component, we recommend consulting a qualified technician or the manufacturer’s installation documentation before proceeding.

9. Physical Damage

Products should be handled carefully.

Physical damage such as bent pins, cracked PCBs, broken connectors, damaged ports, burnt components, damaged sockets or other installation-related damage may be excluded from warranty coverage depending on the manufacturer’s terms.

Where physical damage is observed, the product may be subject to inspection before any warranty determination is made.

10. Serial Numbers and Product Identification

Products may be identified through serial numbers, barcodes, security labels or other identifying information.

Warranty claims may be rejected or require additional verification where:

  • the serial number is missing;
  • the serial number has been altered;
  • the serial number does not match the purchase records;
  • warranty labels have been removed or damaged; or
  • the product cannot be reasonably identified.

11. Accessories and Bundled Items

Warranty coverage for accessories supplied with a product may differ from the warranty coverage for the primary product.

For example, cables, adapters, brackets, manuals, software, promotional items and other accessories may have separate warranty terms or exclusions.

The manufacturer’s applicable warranty terms will determine coverage.

12. Software and Drivers

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Ovrak does not provide a separate warranty for third-party software, operating systems, drivers or applications.

Software-related issues may need to be addressed through the relevant software developer or hardware manufacturer’s support channel.

13. Data and Storage Devices

Customers are responsible for backing up their data before submitting a storage device or computer system for warranty service.

This includes, where applicable:

  • SSDs;
  • HDDs;
  • memory cards;
  • USB storage devices; and
  • systems containing storage devices.

Ovrak, manufacturers and authorised service centres are not responsible for loss of customer data during warranty testing, repair or replacement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Customers should remove sensitive or personal information from devices where reasonably possible before submitting them for service.

14. Warranty Replacement

If the manufacturer approves a replacement, the replacement product may be:

  • the same model;
  • an equivalent model;
  • a newer or alternative model where permitted by the manufacturer; or
  • another product determined by the manufacturer.

Availability of the exact same model is not guaranteed.

Any difference in product specifications or availability will be handled according to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty policy.

15. Warranty Does Not Mean Refund

A warranty claim does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

Where a product is covered by warranty, the normal remedy may be repair or replacement according to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

A refund will only be provided where Ovrak determines that it is appropriate or where a refund is required under applicable law.

16. No Change-of-Mind Warranty Claims

Warranty coverage does not apply to change-of-mind requests.

Examples include:

  • ordering the wrong product;
  • purchasing an incompatible component;
  • selecting the wrong model;
  • deciding that the product is no longer required; or
  • wanting to exchange a product for a different product.

Such requests are governed by Ovrak’s Returns & Refunds Policy.

17. Warranty and Returns Are Different

A return request and a warranty claim are not the same.

Returns & Refunds generally address issues concerning the order, delivery or eligible product-related problems.

Warranty addresses manufacturing defects or other faults covered under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.

Where a product develops a fault after delivery, the applicable manufacturer warranty may be the primary route for resolution.

18. Warranty Shipping

Shipping arrangements for warranty claims may vary depending on the manufacturer, product and warranty process.

Where a manufacturer provides a specific shipping or service procedure, customers may be required to follow that procedure.

Ovrak will provide reasonable assistance where applicable.

19. Products With No Manufacturer Warranty

Some products or categories may not carry a manufacturer warranty or may have limited warranty coverage.

Where applicable, the product listing or manufacturer documentation will specify the available warranty terms.

Nothing in this Policy creates a warranty where none is provided by the manufacturer or where applicable law does not require one.

20. Proof of Purchase

A valid Ovrak invoice or order record may be required to establish the date and source of purchase.

Please retain your Ovrak invoice for the duration of the applicable warranty period.

21. Third-Party Seller or Manufacturer Warranty

Where a product’s warranty is provided directly by a manufacturer, distributor or authorised service provider, Ovrak is not responsible for the manufacturer’s independent warranty decisions, service timelines or internal processes.

However, we will endeavour to assist customers with reasonable information and documentation where appropriate.

22. Warranty Claim Process

The general warranty process is:

  1. Contact Ovrak at info@ovrak.in.
  2. Provide your order number and product details.
  3. Describe the issue and provide requested evidence.
  4. Complete troubleshooting if requested.
  5. Follow the return or service instructions provided.
  6. Allow the product to be inspected or tested where required.
  7. The manufacturer or authorised service provider determines the applicable warranty remedy.
  8. The approved repair, replacement or other remedy is processed.

Processing times may vary depending on the manufacturer, product, service centre and availability of replacement parts or products.

23. Changes to This Warranty Policy

Ovrak may update this Warranty Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products, manufacturers, service procedures or applicable law.

The latest version will be published on the Website with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Product-specific manufacturer warranty terms will continue to apply where they differ from this general policy.

24. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer right, warranty, guarantee or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable Indian law.

Where applicable law provides a mandatory remedy, that remedy will prevail over any conflicting provision of this Policy. The Department of Consumer Affairs recognises consumers’ rights to seek redressal for genuine grievances and provides consumer-dispute mechanisms under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
